About Us
For over 50 years, the Michigan Treasure Hunters club has been active in and around Southeast Michigan. Headquartered in Livonia, it is one of the largest in-person clubs of its kind in the United States. Whether you're a seasoned detecting pro, or a relative newbie to the hobby, we invite you to join us at one of our monthly meetings for fun and friendship. Membership to our club comes with many annual "perks", such as private and club-sponsored hunts, give-aways and the ability to interact with over 1000 years of collective metal detecting experience from our current members.

CLUB DONATIONS
If you would like to make a donation to the club for us to use on future hunts and prizes for our members, please click the donate button. Everything donated goes directly to the benefit of our entire membership.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
Renewal costs (with an emailed Prober newsletter) are $30; $45 if you would like the Prober newsletter mailed to you via USPS rather than emailed.
Renewal dues can be paid via check or money order and mailed to: Michigan Treasure Hunters, P.O. Box 510237, Livonia, MI 48151, or paid at any upcoming membership meeting.
Renewal dues can also be paid via paypal by clicking the appropriate renewal button at the bottom of the website.

JUNE 8, 2025 - TOKEN HUNT
Our June 2025 token hunt will take place at Stymelski Park in Livonia on Sunday June 8. Paid members to the MTH club can participate in this monthly event. Cost is $5 per hunter.

JUNE 24, 2025 CLUB MEETING
Join us for our June meeting, and come prepared to "mix-it-up"! That's right, we plan on having a MTH President inspired mixer in addition to our normal festivities.
It's a great way to meet your fellow detectorists and learn more about what helps make this great club tick - YOU!

JULY 2025 - TOKEN HUNT
Our July 2025 token hunt will take place at a location, date and time to be determined soon. Check back for more details!
JULY 22, 2025 CLUB MEETING
July's meeting will consist of all of our normal activities like Find of the Month, raffle's and socializing.
To add to the festivities, all those in attendance will be able to share some delicious ice cream at our annual ice cream social!
We also hope to have a video showing plenty of pictures from the club's 50+ years of detecting history.

AUGUST 2025 - TOKEN HUNT
Our August token hunt will take place in a location TBD. Paid members to the MTH club can participate in this monthly event. Cost is $5 per hunter.

AUGUST 26, 2025 CLUB MEETING
We'll be trying something a little different for our August Meeting. Along with all of our normal activities like Find of the Month, raffle's and socializing, we'll be hosting a Member Book Sale!
We're asking all members to please bring in some books that they wouldn't mind donating to the club - they don't need to be treasure detecting only. Detective, horror, sports, romance, history, etc. etc. -- you name it. All the books will be on display for purchase, hardcover and paperback, with all funds received going back to the club. Think of it like a mini-sale such as those held at the local Library.

SEPTEMBER 2025 - TOKEN HUNT

SEPTEMBER 21, 2025 CLUB HUNT!
Please don't miss the main seeded hunt of the year for our club!! Previously known as the Can-Am Hunt, it's sure to bring a smile - as well as tons of clad & silver coins, gobs of silver/gold prizes, and other goodies to your pockets.
All paid MTH members are welcome to participate. Multiple FREE hunts and an additional small entry-fee hunt with bigger and better prizes are being planned.
As normal, we plan to have a potluck lunch with some club provided goodies (but please, we're also requesting that attendees bring something to share for 10-12 people). Registration starts the day of the event at 930am, followed by a hunt, lunch and more hunts in the afternoon.
Bring your camping chairs and get comfy - it aims to be a good day of hunting with your fellow detectorists. You may want to bring some Advil too, the muscles will be throbbing by the end of the day.

SEPTEMBER 26-28, 2025 FALL WEEKEND GETAWAY (and HUNT)!
The show-stopper for the year. How about sharing a camping adventure with 30 or so of your fellow detectorists at a nearby "Boyscout-Type" camp for the weekend. Cost for the weekend is $135, which will get you dinner on Friday, 3 square meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
HUNTING ALL DAY ON SATURDAY IS INCLUDED, as well as lodging accomodations. This is a "wild hunt" so nothing seeded - what you find you can keep and share your glory with your fellow hunters. If it's the coolest - you may just win the Find of the Weekend contest!
Also sure to please is our annual rousing game of Left-Right-Center, where the prize pool will be to everyone's liking (silver!)
More details to following at the meetings, in the Prober Newsletter and right here on our website. These Fall Weekend Hunts have been going on for decades, and there's always a great time had by everyone who goes.
The location of the Fall Weekend this year has been finalized, and you'll learn where you'll be heading a week before the event takes place. It's usually just a small travel distance away from SE Michigan.
